Nain rugs are famous for their soft colour palette (ivory, blue, beige), fine kork wool, and delicate floral patterns. Many Nain rugs have extremely high knot counts, especially in the 6La and 4La qualities.
Tabriz rugs often feature medallion designs, detailed borders, and precise knotting. They are known for their durability and symmetrical knots.
Both are long-lasting, but city rugs usually have a finer, denser weave and more precise patterns. Nomadic and village rugs are bolder and thicker, city rugs more elegant and intricate.
