Moud rugs come from Moud in eastern Persia, in the Khorasan region, where the art of knotting has been passed down for generations. They are known for their fine knotting on a cotton foundation, which allows clear contours. This variant shows the 'garden' pattern: the surface is divided into small fields, each carrying its own floral motif. Behind it lies an old idea: the garden as an image of paradise, divided into beds and watercourses, as Persian garden art has known it for centuries. Red, white and light blue are common, and the wool is usually clipped short. The geometric-floral order makes this Moud especially calm and structured; a rug that brings order to a room instead of dominating it.

This rug measures 86 × 59 cm and works well in a hallway, kitchen or entrance area. It comes in a mix of colours and features a pattern divided into panels; the border is grey. It is hand-knotted, with a pile of 100% virgin wool and a foundation of 100% cotton. Rugs of this quality typically have 360,000 to 490,000 knots per square metre.

A colourful rug turns the hallway into a place with character; keep walls and coat rack simple and it looks tidy.
